The winner of Miss Universe Philippines 2013 pageant will be decided in April 2013

The finale of Binibining Pilipinas 2013 or Miss Universe Philippines 2013 will be held on April, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. The exact date of the pageant will be announced of BBPCI. Three tittles will be crowned at the end of the event: Miss Universe Philippines 2013, Miss International Philippines 2013 and Miss Tourism Philippines 2013. They will represent the country in respective international pageants.
Janine Mari Tugonon, the winner of Binibining Pilipinas 2012 will crown her successor at the end of the pageant.

Currently, application form is now ready for download at www.bbpilipinas.com.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their forms at the BPCI / Uniprom Office located near the Red Gate of Smart Araneta Coliseum, at The Araneta Center.

Deadline for submission is on January 15, 2013.
Qualifications:
A single lady, 17 to 25 years old
A Filipino citizen, at least 5’6” in height with pleasing personality
At least a high school graduate and of good moral character

Original birth certificate (authenticated by NSO)
Certified true copy of high school diploma
Philippine passport (if any)

Written consent from parents if 17 years of age

Note: Binibining Pilipinas (Miss Philippines) is the organization responsible for sponsoring the annual national beauty pageant which selects representatives of the Philippines in two of the Big Four international beauty pageants namely Miss Universe and Miss International and the third and fourth placers participates in minor global pageants, Miss Tourism Queen International and Miss Supranational.

Janine likes to make candies, or “pastillas”, that she then sells to friends and family. One day Janine rescued her sister’s cell phone from a mugger.
